Not quite what I was expecting but it'll do. For the price, I was expecting something a LITTLE "heavier". It seems to be more like a "sweat jacket" than anything.

Warm and luxurious looking jacket. The material makes it look kind of like a fur coat. It's somewhat shiny, and the black color looks sharp. I bought this for my girlfriend who says it's plenty warm in temperatures close to freezing when properly layered up.

I have several of these, in many different colors and styles and I love them all. I also buy them for my family and recommend to my friends and they have purchased them as well. For my part, they are very stylish, and warm down to 20 degree range and for me all the way to 10 degrees. Others may have a different tolerance for cold weather, and could wear in zero? I just love them and I do believe you will as well. JMO.

Thank you to all of those other reviewers who said if you are wearing this jacket with a sweater to buy a size up. I did that and they were absolutely right. I am 5'5 and 140 pounds and I live in sweatshirts and sweaters all winter long. This coat fits perfects over them. I think the medium would have been too snug. The coat is soft and it appears well made...

I have this jacket in black, my third North Face jacket. I ordered the medium and it fits very well not bulky like some of my other N.F. jackets, it follows the shape of your body. If you want to wear a heavy sweater under it, I would size up, because the sleaves at the wrist are a little narrow.Love the hood !
