Extremely light weight and compressible. Very well made. It’s been far too warm to see how warm it is, and I have no idea about durability. I have black; it looks great. If you want light weight and a small volume to pack, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Super Lite and warm. I've been using it ever day and its been great. Would like to have a more substantial zipper it just feels a bit less rugged than I would like - we will see

AVOID the ORANGE! My son researches all his purchases extensively and after an exhaustive search he determined this was THE best jacket for his needs, lightweight, yet warm, and packable in his carry-on for air travel. I ordered the jacket in Orange as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed! The Orange jacket looked like it had oil stains along each seam. Definitely a materials issue. We returned the jacket and reordered a different color, shark grey, and he is very happy with that one.

This jacket is the bomb dot com. Everywhere I go I get bombarded with compliments. Honeys and bro's alike be all, "I'd hit that!" It's warm AF and super LIT. Highly recommend with some fresh JNCO's and a crisp pair of Soaps! One love like my man BOB, Jimmy

Super lightweight. About as warm as a typical fleece sweatshirt but much much lighter and packs down smaller. Nice roomy pockets to keep your hands warm. Size runs small. I usually wear a large but ordered an Xlarge which was just right. Overall nicely made. Mine has a small stitching flaw in one pocket that I need to contact MH about.

I own 5 of these ultra light highly durable and extremely warm jackets. I love them and I can assure you that I would not have invested over $1500 bucks for something that did not measure up. Great jacket.

I highly recommend this jacket. It is the lighted, warmest jacket I have ever worn. Perfect for Fall and Winter outdoor activities, or just lounging around the house. Very durable rip-stop construction and easy to pack into its own pocket for transport or used as a sleeping bag pillow. This should be the last cold-weather jacket I will ever need to purchase.

This jacket is quite warm considering its lightness. It is a mid-layer: in even moderate wind conditions, it must be used in combination with a wind resistant shell in order to keep you warm. The fabric is quite delicate, it tends to hitch to zippers and such, and it can tear with some ease. It packs in its own pocket and the fit is very comfortable, you hardly notice you're weraring it. The hood, on the other hand, fits somewhat loose. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a warm and very light midlayer.

Being 6ft tall (add 1/2 inch on Saturday nights) and 200lbs the Extra large fits well. There is just a bit of looseness around the belly. That should give a little lassitude to drink more beer, or allow some room for thicker baselayers. It can also be worn as a midlayer in combo with a windshirt or rain jacket. As it is hooded you can sleep in it to boost the temp rating of your sleeping bag / quilt ect. The baffles are sealed, so no down migration, they are also the right width not to narrow so not to much extra stitching (good for a little more wind resistance). It packs in a pocket and gets very small, less weight and more room in the pack. It has a waist cinch and two external zippered side pockets, and the down is hydrophobic. Lacking cinches around the wrists and hood for me they fit well and are features that I can do well enough without. Overall it is a brilliant piece of gear that I am now the proud owner of. If you need a piece like this just buy this one.

Got size large and normally wear medium perfect for layering. It's super light warm and blocks the wind. In light rain water beads right off of it. When folded into its own pocket will serve as perfect pillow for backpacking. I would definitely buy again.

No issues with the chest size being too bulky for me as stated in another review. I actually had to go up a size from the mountain hardwear recommended sizing. I typically wear a size 40 jacket, which is in the middle of the size M (39-41) for this jacket. After receiving the M, the chest was tight with just a T shirt under it. The large fits me a touch big but this allows room for layering under it.
