Doesn't quite fit the redwing 50, and the loop securement around the edge isn't bungee material like most other rain covers are so it doesn't totally stay in place like it should.

Took on a 4 day outing in very humid weather with a chance of rain everyday. Having the rain cover meant for my pack was great to ensure fitment. Packs small and light to keep it hand when you need it.

generally like the cover but wish there were a thick/lite cross strap located midway along the vertical length, to hold the sides together behind back (small snap or other opening/closing connection would be required to thread thru shoulder pads).

Bought this for my coyote 80L backpack for a 5 day backcountry hike in Denali. Throughout the trip we hiked for 18 hours in hard rain and I didn’t have a leak at all. The peace of mind for the contents of your pack is absolutely worth the money. Great purchase.

If you've even been caught on the trail in a major storm, you already know the value of and need for a pack cover. I just purchased a Kelty Red Cloud 110 (it's huge) and this cover fits it perfectly. I haven't tried in the rain yet, but it's well made, substantial and I'm glad I'll have it when I need it.

Bought this when I bought my new Kelty backpack and used it for the first time the other day. I got caught out in the woods in a thunder, hai and downpour situation. I put the rain cover on my pack and it kept the pack dry!

I use this pack as a low profile medical mission pack. I have attached clear velcro backed pockets on the velcro inner liner so when you open the pack, the contents are clearly visible and easily accessible. I basically keep two IFAKs, a drug box, an IV/IO kit with a 250 mL NS bag, and a small kit with a BP cuff and stethoscope and some sniffle meds. There is also a pelvic splint, some duct tape and 16 ft of nylon tube strap. The main compartment holds a lot without there being too much room that I can add more crap I can just keep in the truck. The organizer pocket on the outside has maps, compass, chemlights, some poptarts (very important item), extra magazines, a GPS, and some extra batteries and radio components. The top pouch, I keep a mesh bag with random things. The pack is a tactical pack that has a low profile, doesn't look tactical. It fits in small places and isn't too much to carry on one strap wearing a blazer or suit jacket. I dont look completely out of place carrying it into a business professional atmosphere. I have had it a few weeks now and use it everyday for mission, works really well. Looks like the same construction and materials I had in a Redwing 44 I had for close to 8 years and I expect it to last the same. Great pack for my specific needs. Cant say anything negative against it at this time, though I think a bottom access like you see in some expedition packs might be nice. Pretty close to perfect.

Item received in bubble wrap with plastic packaging. Loved the fact that there is a mesh cover provided to keep the raincover! The cinch cords are perfect to hold down the raincover for any pack size. Cannot wait to use it for my next hiking trip. Thank you Kelty!

My first trip out after receiving my Kelty rain cover was in the 30’s and 20’s with drizzle, snow, sleet, and higher winds. The pack rain cover fit perfectly over my Trekker 65 external frame pack and sleeping bag, stayed in place, and kept everything dry. I was afraid I had scuffed it while navigating under a couple of fallen trees or walking through some brambles, but it shows no wear at all. Great product!

The rain cover fits my Kelty RedCloud 110 well. I had to figure out the strap attachments (no instructions/pictures) but that was no train smash. Seems to fit well and will work when, and if, it ever rains in New Mexico when I'm out backpacking.

I have a Kelty 90L pack and this fit over it perfectly! Sinch cord on the bottom and sturdy snap closures on top that I chose to attach to the straps of my pack. Kept the pack dry during the day. At night I had my pack in the tent vestibule which was very muddy so I put the rain cover over the strap side so I could get to the pockets. Worked great! Just came home and went to clean it off. Cleaned up so well. The material is thick and light weight. Carrier is attached to it so I didn't have to worry about losing it or dropping it in the mud. Worth every penny!

I ordered the Redwing 50 and the description said that I would need a large cover. When it arrived it was huge and way too big for the 50 liter pack. I will be trading it in for a medium. Hopefully it will fit better. The cover looks to be a quality material and should hold up well.

My son recently spent 2 weeks hiking at Philmont Scout Ranch, which is a rough trip. He told me his Kelty sleeping bag, exterior frame backpack and cover were the best pieces of equipment he had and believes he'll have them for many, many years to come. Thank you Kelty.
