Bought it to replace a Grand Trunk I bought years ago that was destroyed by a dog. Same model, different color. But still the same great quality. The wide hanging straps are a nice addition.

I bought this for use at home under my oak trees. I had to buy the extra straps to make it work. And boy, does it work! The hammock and the straps are very well made. And it's easy to setup! I bought the double so my granddaughter could join me. It's a great place for a nap!

I have been borrowing my brother's Grand Trunk hammock for a couple of years and I finally got my own. I love it! The only thing I noticed is the change in strap design seems to need a bigger carabiner. The strap gets folded up when I connect them.

So far it?s been going good, the day I got it I went to the park to hang it up, from there I immediately realized I needed bigger straps because the tree trunks there are much thicker and 5 would not be able to go around it. So I bought the 10feet straps in hopes of it being able to go around the tree trunk. It?s good for one person and two persons, alittle but tight for two but still good.

Due to the weirdness that was this past year, I've had to use my Grand Trunk hammock as a full-time bed. I decided to upgrade from the Ultralight Starter as it was great for camping, but kinda cramped for my 6'1", 240lbs frame. This Double Deluxe, however, gives me room to spare. I can lay flat, stretch out, even roll over to get comfortable without the slightest worry of falling out. The straps and carabiners hold my weight handily, and I have no doubt they would hold up to the rated 400lbs. I've been using this hammock as a full-time bed for a couple months now, and I have faith it will be there as long as I need it.

Perfect for doubles. Great option for random stops for dates and bike rides. Loved the straps that came with it that protected the tree. Easily setup and taken down.

Bought one of these years ago for myself. Loved it so much I bought one for my brother. Customer service at Grand Trunk is phenomenal and the hammocks are excellent quality. Order originated from Utah, set to be in Knoxville, TN on Thursday- sweet! Until, for some reason, it ended up in Honolulu for the weekend. My hammock did make it to me by Monday, but that was after a weekend of no expected delivery date from USPS. So to anyone else experiencing a hammock taking some R&R in Hawai'i, don't worry, your hammock will mosey its way to your front porch eventually.
