I guess everything breaks eventually, I used this about 15 times and had to be a bit gentle. Fabric ripped apart over time. But finally gave up the ghost when it split right down the rail and dumped me on the tent floor. 215lbs 6.1... tough night. Got on to see if there were ever any replacemnt parts canvases ect, but there is not.

Very nice, seems like it would work well. Haven't slept on it yet since it's winter and camping season is a few months away

Purchased 2 on Amazon. Sturdy, Very easy setup and take down ( only takes seconds) Comfortable, Side table very secure and sturdy. Don't understand why it only get 3.5 stars on this site. Looking for a compatible mattress pad.

This is a great collapsible cot, easy to set up and break down. The only complaint is that because there is no mechanism to "lock" the legs in the open position, by the time you wake up in the morning, you're sleeping in a "half pipe" and if you have a bad back like mine you will be in pain. A better option is the Trailhead cot which does have a locking mechanism, although it still stretches it maintains the tension much better. Go with the Trailhead!

This cot was easy to set up and sturdy. I have used this cot daily since February 2020. Then it happen, last week the center cross brace fractured and it collapsed. This is a great product, I just wore it out. I do wish I could get a replacement part to swap, Coleman website doesn't offer this item, or do they?

This cot has been perfect for me and is very comfortable. I use a self inflating mat on top and the quality of sleep is perfect while tent camping. Easy to set up and take down. I don?t use the side table since I have something else I use as a bedside table. I?m a large person and a side sleeper. This is a great product in my opinion

This cot is great. It folds out and sets up easily. It is comfortable and has no bars or tension to disturb your sleep. The side table is a wonderful bonus. Have you tried to camp when you need tissue or water by your bed? It also has plenty of room to stow gear underneath. We bought two of these for many reasons, but the fact that you can stand up from it instead of crawl onto the floor before you can stand up is the most important! One caution though: if you slide the cot the legs may not still be directly under the cot. My husband had cot collapse on one end because of this. The most damage was a big surprise, but still not a good one. If you move it around be sure the legs are still in place before you get onto it.

I have used my cot for 10 years, several times a year and it has held up well. It’s easy to transport and set up.

Have used this for at least 5 years when base camping, for monthly weekend camping and long term camps. Used wooden and aluminum traditional military cots in the past, and pulling the end camps on are way too much a pain. woodend X crosses broke, aluminum bent during use and transport.. Cost was in the same range as previous cots. I unzip the carry bag, slip the cot out, drop down the sides, expand it a bit, flip it over and simiply streatch out fabric over end caps. Taking it apart is just as simple.

Great cot at an economical price. I'm 6"4 and its difficult to find a camping cot that will accommodate my size. This is a comfortable cot that even has a drink holder. I've used this for camping or throw it in the car when visiting relatives.

Originally this cot was intended to be used for Trips but ended up being used for a little over 2 years and nearly daily. I twas able to support my weight that was just over the 250 lbs mark during that time. Unfortunately like many other posters the canvas bedding seemed to just separate one night on the upper body part of the cot and I nearly fell thru the cot itself while sleeping on it. Wishing there was some sort of replacement canvas bedding options available but I think it's time to locate a new camping cot.

I purchase 3 of these cots last summer and they have held up well. I did find that the metal bar would catch me behind my knee so I added a 2" Gel Memory foam for a Twin XL bed and that did the trick. A very comfortable sleep!

Purchased at Coleman Outlet store in Birch Run Michigan. Very easy to pack and unpack. Side table is not why I bought it but turns out works well. Very happy.

Very easy setup and fold up. This is a lot Heavier Duty than picture implies. Holds old fat guy like me.

Surprised to read other reviews with problems of ripping, etc. I've used mine for about 4 years, probably at least 20 to 30 nights each year, so about 100 nights in all, and it is still in perfect shape. I am careful with my things though, and certainly don't bounce on it. I clean it each time I get home. Like it because very easy to set up and take down in literally a few seconds. Packs fairly small. Heavy - but it's for car camping so that's fine. Have used other cots - Coleman and other companies - and this is the best by far. I weigh about 200 and am well over 6 feet. Only problem I've had with it is the carrying case has started to come apart at the seams after many re-packings - but that's not a big deal. The cot itself is great.

I’ve had two of these now and yes each one has eventually ripped but only after about 7 months and 200 straight nights. That’s with babying it but also sometimes sitting on it which it’s not really designed for. It will last over 10 years for the person who only camps about 20 times a year but if you’re getting this for a daily guest bed, etc. be prepared to replace it every 6 to 7 months or so, depending on how it’s treated. After my first one ripped, I tried it again and was really careful with how I got out and into it with the new one. Careful with not bouncing too hard on it and being careful getting out of it. That extended the life about 2 months. I’m not sure a stronger 600-lb cot would last much longer either because it might be the same problem of the fabric sagging and then ripping. Logically I suppose thicker fabric would equal longer life but again that too is going to stretch out. Regardless, it’s a really nice cot and I have learned to view it as something I’ll have to replace every 7 months or so, just as I do a shirt that’s worn out or a messenger bag I use daily. At the price it’s not a huge expense to replace it every 7 months or so. I definitely recommend it for casual camping but the people who are saying it rips are probably the ones using it daily month after month or who accidentally ripped it by not being conscious of the force applied.
