You need more of these

The carbide tips should be the default option on BD Z-Poles. They bite on a wider range of surfaces than the rubber tips and they're much more durable. That's why I pitched the rubber tips and bought a spare set of the carbides. But make sure you have pliers or fingertips of steel--these babies aren't easy to change.
