Great for packing medical equipment

I volunteer for a mission organization to pack Field Medical Kits - medical equipment and a few medical consumables for missionaries living out in remote areas. They use the equipiment to provide medical care for the people groups they live amongst, as well as for their own families. Many of these families live far enough from a clinic or hospital it would take several days to hike there. I use the dry bags to pack it all into a neat and tidy package. If the missionaries travel by canoe or cross rivers or oceans, the dry bags maintain the soundness of the equipment. BONUS - they are Made in the USA!!! My only recommendation would be to provide a simple sling strap for cross body or backpack carry. I know Sealline has that option, but the cost is not competitive with the ones made in other countries. I chose Made in USA over the convenience of a carry strap since I was operating in a strict budget.

Perfect for your next dive trip

The Baja Dry Bag works great! We used it for storing all of our gear on a dive trip to Belize. It kept all of my camera equipment and clothes dry while we were under the water.

Indestructible

Indestructible. I use mine for bikepacking and to protect my food from critters when winter camping.

Too big for 35L airbag pack

It seemed fine but was way too big and there was no air hole

I prefer the Baja bags over any other bag on the market

I've used a lot of different bags over the years and the closure of these bags is the best! Tough as nails and 100% reliable.

Not light, but rugged and a true dry bag!

This bag did the job and kept my clothes nice and dry after flipping in rapids last week.

far exceeded expectations

I recently "lost" my 30L Baja dry bag, pinned between a tree and a gravel bar in a moderately-moving current at ~20-30cm depth. We made a few rescue attempts over the next 30 hours, before leaving it as lost. It was found, ~50km down stream, 8 days later. Considering the waterproof description states "withstands quick submersions", I was expecting everything to be completely waterlogged. However, the contents at the top were only slightly damp, and at the bottom, contents were dry. I was amazed!

Durable - Even kids can't rip these

I own at least a dozen of the Baja Bags.... Most are the 55 L bags. I take my now college-age boys and friends on multiple five day long canoeing / kayaking trips each year. We put our canoes and kayaks on our custom trailer that also holds these full bags and all of our other gear, which is exposed to rain while we travel to other states. I have had some of these bags for over 10 years and they are all still holding up. I bought more as our groups expanded. We used these for monthly weekend campouts when the boys were in Boy Scouts. When they were younger / smaller, they would drag these across the gravel bars (much to my displeasure) but the bags always held up. We put a week of clothes and material in duffle bags as that makes it easy to slide everything out (and back in). We use some bags for compressed sleeping bags and tents. We recently bought a 30L bag to slide into the stern of our 14' kayak. Over the years, Seal Line has changed the color of the bags, which helps identify each person's bag. We use strips of color duct tape to distinguish bags of the same color. We use a clear 30L bag as our First Aid supply bag and for our solar battery charger. We keep the supplies inside a bright orange first aid bag that slides in for easy access and put that bag on top of the kayak or canoe so the solar charger gets sun during the day. There are cheaper / thinner bags, and I've thought of buying those when I've bought more, but always decided to stay with these durable bags as we are on gravel bars most of the time. I've not bought the newer bags with the air purge valves, as we leave air in so the bags float when someone flips a canoe (which happened a couple times before everyone was experienced and unfortunately in 2017 when a tree fell across a rapid literally seconds after one of the canoes entered the chute). We also use the 55L bags when we go motorcycle touring. We just strap them sideways on the back seat. I've not found a better product for our use.

What Goes Around, Comes Around

When I was 11 I was sent to a canoe tripping camp and purchased a Baja 30L which carried everything I needed for 14+ day canoe trips except my toothbrush. Fast Forward ~15 years: That original Baja is still working, still seals and was used as a "large item" deck bag on a 8 day kayak trip in Glacier Bay National Park. I also purchased several 20L Bajas for this trip as they would fit into my hatches better. Would recommend.

Put it to task and kept it all dry

Tough, dependable, secure. Most importantly, dry. I might suggest adding on tether point on bags larger than 50 L. Makes it easier to secure than just through the clip at the top.

Great bag - I put water in them with no leaking

I actually use these bags in reverse. I put water in them and travel. I travel to indigenous regions and often have no water source going there and need to bring pure water. These are by far the best dry bags I've used. I travel with pure water inside the bags, even on planes full of water and these bags are great. I've dropped them, applied the pressure from weight and never worry about them breaking or leaking. They are equally strong and light and fold to be perfectly flat and small when empty. Highly recommend these bags.

Get the Color You Want

We've used SealLine bags with zero problems since the mid-1980's, sea kayaking, climbing and backcountry camping. Get the color you want. You will be using it for a long, long time.

Also great for motorcycling

I'm into my 2nd 55L bag for the last 30 years, the buckle finally broke on bag#1. I can put my tent, sleeping bag, extra blanket, and Therm-a-Rest mattress inside, ride through a monsoon or semi's wash, and KNOW I'll have something dry to sleep in at the end of the day. I just pack it, plop it on the back seat, strap it down, and head down the road. I've used rope, bungee cords, and Rok Straps (the best), to strap it down and the bag takes it all without blinking, if a dry bag could blink. I even use it as the welcome mat for my tent when the gear's all set up. It's my main piece of equipment for motorcycling trips.

I'll never buy a different dry bag.

I strapped these bruisers on the back of my kayak for a remote 3 day river trip. The weather was mostly good but the bajas don't care. They got thrashed against rocks that felt like cheese graters and still hung in there. I run my gear pretty hard and these bags earned their stripes. Now I'm just trying to get all the colors.

Extremely Durable, Waterproof

I've had three 55L bags for 5 years now and use them several times per year on paddling trips. Just returned from a trip where one of the bags got hung up on a sharp tree branch while we were navigating a small river - the branch could not puncture the bag and once again, the bags (which normally sit in bilge water all day) kept my gear dry. The only negative to this design is that it can be hard to access gear near the bottom. Many of us have come to prefer the duffel-style dry bags for this reason, but they can be more susceptible to leaks.

Awesome bags at a great price!

My wife and I each have one that we put our sleeping bag, hammock, and all the other camping gear in then use the handle to clip onto our sit-on-top kayaks and we're set. It makes packing and unpacking very simple and fast and keeps our gear dry.

Tough little bag

I've used Sealline bags for whitewater, canyoneering and caving for years and have never been let down. The 10 liter size is good for a small cave pack, 5 is good when you only need to keep a few small items dry. Get a bigger bag for camping gear for whitewater / canoe trips. You can roll down empty space that you're not using to keep the bag compact.

Stiff Bag

This bag is waterproof.. but because of the vinyl.. It is very rigid and not so flexable. I used this for my sleeping bag.. but only if im going down a river in a canoe/boat etc Otherwise buy their other bags..Dont get me wrong it works for the purpose it was made for..but dont use this as storage sack or for mobility. Its heavy material is unyeilding.
