Really watertight
I just return from a trip on Bonaire, and since you can not leave anything in the pick up truck rented over there because of theft, I needed a watertight box to take a Garmin Montana GPS (used to drive over there) underwater to SCUBA dive, first I tested the box empty to 100 ft for 15 minutes, in my first dive, since didn't leak, I used with the GPS for the rest of my 25 dives, and work perfect, a recommendation is to put a tight wrap around the box over the lock, so won't open accidentally.
Watertight Cases
The units were just as advertised and work perfectly. I use them to protect sunglasses when I'm not wearing them.
The S3 T4500 case is foam-lined, watertight, hard-sided and airtight (it floats!). This patented dry box is designed to handle full submersions--up to 80' (24.38m) for 30 minutes. Case is made from high impact ABS. All hinge and latch pins are made from stainless steel and will not rust. Latch is a compound design for positive seal and easy opening of case. Case comes with foam insert for protection of content from shifting and high impact.
Case has outside dimensions of 7.37" x 8.33" x 3.2" (11.18cm x 7.75cm x 6.32cm) with internal dimensions of 6.94" x 3.28" x 2.49" (17.63cm x 8.33cm x 6.32cm) with a volume of 56.68 cubic inches (928.8 cubic cm) and weighs 10.88 oz. (308.44 g) when empty. Great waterproof storage for critical yet smaller items. The internal dimensions make this case perfect for storing medications, electronic keys, pager, jewelry, Fitbit, activity trackers, iPod, MP3, camera, sunglasses, two-way radio, video camera and more. Case comes equipped with an adjustable lanyard for attachment to wrist or gear. Case conforms to MIL-STD-810F Transit Drop Test and Immersion Test and SAE J575 Dust Resistant Test.
