This is a great way to take a little vino on a backpacking adventure. My wife loves it!

I love these for multi-day river trips. I can bring good wine (not box) with me without having to deal with the weight and hassle of glass bottles.

We took the Platy Preserve on the West Coast Trail and it was a great way to hike with a bit of wine. The only problem was we lost the cap! Thankfully it was after we finished the wine but we had started to use the Platy Preserve to treat extra drinking water and as we were filling it at the stream... the cap floated away. My suggestion for this product is to have a cap that is attached to the bag. Other than that small change we still love the Platy Preserve!

I think these are the best. I use them mostly for travel. They free up the weight of wine or liquor bottles and though I bag them for leakage, they have never leaked. I use the large clear bottles for keeping water on a dive boat to drink or rinse off the salt water from my face. Thanks to the Platy bottles!

Great way to bring wine along on the trip! Keeps it fresh and not as heavy or bulky as bringing the bottle! Loveit!

Love my platypus. Just ordered more (some for gifts). I needed a new one as mine had developed a leak....after many years of successful travel being carried in my suitcase. Probably should be replaced after several trips in order to avoid mishaps.????

Use as a traveling wine bottle or large flask. Easy to throw in a backpack and not take up much room or weight and not worry about a bottle breaking.

Have used this once and it's great but... The lid should be attached. And I washed it out 3 days ago but it's still wet inside... How do you dry it so no mold accumulates
