I originally purchase the Women's Cat's Meow because, to be honest, I was a little apprehensive about having a down sleeping bag. I had come to think that down was high maintenance due to its inability to get wet. The Women's Cat's Meow is a good bag, however it doesn't easily compress and is bulky. I was unable to successfully get it into a 55 liter pack without straining the zipper a bit. Hence I came over to the down side and I'm glad I did! The Women's Blue Kazoo is so much more easily compressible and much lighter in weight. I had no problem fitting it into a MEDIUM Sea to Summit eVent Dry Sack and thus fitting it into the sleeping bag compartment of a 55 liter pack, without straining the zipper. I gave it four stars because I have yet to use it outdoors...its been triple digits here in TX. I'm still a little apprehensive about the unforeseen possibility that it might get wet, but after the struggle with the Women's Cat's Meow, trying to stuff it into a stuff sack and then into the pack, there is no turning back for me. The down side has won!
