Material is not the same as what we had before. The ones sold at Nordstrom has a better quality even though both are the same vest. Please ask North Face to return making the original vest. Otherwise, we would be buying Columbia with the same quality but better pricing.

Brought for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it...looked very nice on her. These 2 vests were on my first purchase from Sunny Sports and it was an awesome experience. Had to return one due to size...and customer service rep was more than nice to talk with and return shipping was free and quickly refunded to my credit card. If you are looking for a great vest for the winter purchase the North Face Nuptse 2 Vest NOT the Aconcague Down vest. I had purchased the Nuptse 2 vest in 2012 in Brown and I wanted a vest in Black and because of price I purchased the Aconcague Down Vest in 2013. And I am sorry that I did. I will be returning the Aconcague Vest and hopefully purchase a Nuptse 2 vest in Black.

Love this vest, exactly what I was looking for. I have to be careful, that my daughter does not " borrow" it! Great for errands, and walking/ running on not too cold New England days. Great for layering.

I was looking for a new black vest to layer with hoodies / long sleeve t-shirts for the upcoming spring and this vest is perfect! It runs true to size (I am 5'10" and 140# and purchased a medium) and I think fits well on tall women (it's not too short). I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I would love to see more pockets - coming off of winter, I have become very accustomed to the chest pockets that my ski and other coats have (very handy for cell phone).
