A dual-density, compression-molded back panel is channeled to allow air to circulate, keeping your back cool and dry while in the backcountry. You can reach the interior of the Juniper 55 Women's pack through top and front access points. The standard capacity of the Juniper 55 Women's pack is 3539 cubic inches but an integrated spindrift collar expands usable capacity to a full 4332 cubic inches. The height of the top lid can be adjusted to accommodate the expanded collar. A huge "U"-shaped zipper throws the front of the pack wide open, enabling you to quickly put hands on contents without having to completely unload the pack bag. A large front pocket stores additional gear and detaches entirely for use as a streamlined summit pack complete with its own shoulder straps and hydration sleeve. The Mountainsmith Juniper 55 Pack for Women also features a tool and trekking pole mounts, ice axe loops and daisy chain gear attachment points.
