I have been using one
I have been using one of these daily for years. I always am reminded of a Sthil chainsaw air filter when describing it. Since it is also made in Germany I feel justified. Great product.

Works great
Spoon the coffee in, pour the water through and then put the lid on and let it steep. Perfect coffee for on the trail.

Works well!
This works very well, but you have to have a cup that the lips/wings fit over. Otherwise you should just make cowboy coffee.

Love this for home and the field
I bought one of these because I drink a lot of loose leaf tea. I use it at home and while camping. I love that this is so well made and please keep making it. By the way I have seen some comments regarding the tea lid. The lid is where you set the filter after you brew the tea..ie flip the lid and set your basket in it. Just saying

Using it once again
I purchased the MugMate a few years ago. I stopped using it shortly after purchase. I found it easier to make instant. Well, after drinking subpar coffee for a few years, I brought it out of storage and am glad I did. Coffee is so much better. Richer and deeply flavorful. I use coffee that?s already ground, and it does leave dregs. I?ll experiment cutting a paper filter to fit. The MugMate is now included in my backpack.

Filter Works great but cap/lid is useless-doesnt fit onto filter. I wonder what purpose it serves? I use it at home now for my am coffee. Quicker and simpler way to brew nice dark coffee vs. coffee pot or Kuerig with messy K cup waste issues.

Awesome and works great but the storing lid does not stay on kinda wish it would that way I can put my sugar and coffee in the same but still very good product made in Germany!

Such an awesome and essential piece of gear. It goes with me everywhere because of its convenience. Two gripes however, the lid does not stay on very well, so I don't trust leaving ground in there for travel (not saying that the purpose was such, I just do it out of convenience and use a rubber band to secure it). Secondly it is slightly too wide for my Hydroflask (resulting in occasional spills when I have to yank it out and it is slightly too narrow for my Yeti mug so finding the correct mug to fit was a challenge. Still a stellar product.

Great travel and camping/hiking coffee
Love this thing! I'm only worried about breaking the mesh when stuffed in a bag. Because of the wings I can't tuck it inside my travel mug for protection. Seems easy to design a travel case for it to sell separately.

This little device is awesome. Fresh coffee in no time at all. Definitely recommend this. I was on a kayak trip and the guide had one of these for our morning brew. Ordered one the day I got home.
