Poles proved perfect on Antarctic ice

I took these poles on an expedition cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula where we were traveling to different landings each day. The poles were light and easy to pack. They also were easy to carry on and off zodiacs, then a quick twist and they were ready to help me over varied terrain--rocky landings, icy trails. Might have needed a bigger basket on powder snow, but they did fine on the slush and ice pack we encountered. Others had trouble with their poles--not strong enough, difficult or unreliable when expanded or too long when collapsed to carry easily on and off ship--but mine performed exactly as I hoped they would.
