This works perfect for traveling. It has 3 different compartments. One holds 17.3" laptop in one compartment, clothes & such in the largest compartment, & then the front compartment holds nook or a book, cell phone, camera, & passport. There are several zipped side pockets that can hold a water bottle. Then there is another zipped pocket at the top that was perfect to hold cell phone power cord for easy access to charge up at the airport if needed. It fits perfect under the seat in the airplane. We carried them as our personal bag & then our carry on bag went above in the overhead storage.

I bought this for my 5th grade kid. She had many rolling backpack from different makers previously which lasted less than a year; however, this one is very durable and looks like it will last a long time.

I bought this for my daughter who was studying Medical Technology and had several large heavy text books and manuals. She needed something made well and would hold up to heavy loads. She absolutely loves it! She has all her books in there and more! I am very pleased with the quality of High Sierra products and have bought bookbags previously for my kids while in school. I know they stand behind their products.

Both my kids have to take all their books back & forth between school, and at 29 & 35 pounds, their old backpacks were just to difficult to carry. They also had become a very tight squeeze getting all those books in. I purchased these because they were bigger than what they owned, and could be rolled. These have worked perfectly, and are much easier for them to use. They roll well, and have lots of room for books. They will also hold laptops once my kids reach high school. Just make sure you check all connectors when you receive your backpack. One of ours had to be returned because of missing bolts. Second one was fine.

Awesome bag! This is of good quality, been looking for a rolling backpack that won't get ripped after 2 mos., especially on the water bottle holder...most net style are so weak and tears so fast. This bottle holder on the side is solid and zips up, keeps the bottle cool longer. I've read so many reviews and most are positive. Great bag! The bag is easy to pull, push, rollin it is with no effort, my kid loves it! Plenty of room as well. Now she doesn't have to carry those heavy books anymore.

I bought this bag for my 7th grade daughter. My daughter loves this bag because she can use the wheels when she's walking home from school, but she uses it as a backpack when in school campus. The only downside she complains about is that the bag is big that it can't fit into the locker the school assigns them during PE class so she has to bring it out with her in the field during PE. I don't think that it's a complaint against the bag. I love how durable and smooth this bag is when you're wheeling it around. It is a great bag. I'm contemplating in getting one for myself for when we go on trips.

Purple color is deeper than pictured. Daughter not so happy about that. Our bag has two zipper pockets on the side instead of one mesh and one zipper. Zipper pockets are hard to put water or gatorade bottles in. Bag is large enough for all school books with room for lunch box on top of books and can still be zipped. Plenty of room for "extra" stuff in the front pockets.

Much better quality than the standard back to school book bags found everywhere. Much larger than standard back pac. Kids needed a portable locker. This nearly fits the bill to a tee. Purchased 2 of them for upper elementary school kids. I am a picky dad that is tired of buying bookbags twice a year. This looks like it might make it more than a year.

I am a university instructor and haul books back and forth to work . This is my second High Sierra pull backpack . I pull these packs through snow and rain and They are well built and easy to use. This one pulls like a dream even when loaded. It is well balanced and the handle moves up and down smoothly. The heavy duty wheels are quiet even on tile floors. Compartments are roomy and the outside side pockets will each hold a 32 oz water bottle. The only drawback is the computer compartment only unzips on top vs on each side so you are limited to the size of laptop you could put in there. 15-17 in at most. Overall I am very pleased with this and got it for a great price from this seller.

I bought this back pack for my 10 year old son. He has the High Sierra Access which is perfect for accommodating his books, lunchbox and 2 water bottles plus it had great pockets and extra features like hidden pocket and a raincoat for the backpack. The features that influenced my purchase of the Access were it's large 2 compartment size and most importantly the chest and waist strap which are difficult to find together on the same backpack. The problem with this backpack became that it was so heavy my son would bend at the waist to manage the load even while using the straps. I began searching for a wheeled backpack (which would you believe my son's elementary school requires a doctor's note to use?) hoping to find something similar to the Access but with wheels. Unfortunately, a wheeled backpack with chest and waist straps does not seem to exist. I settled on the Powerglide and found that even though the smaller front compartment is meant for a laptop it will hold my son's lunch box, a plus for me. The back pack is really too heavy when filled to use the straps so my son uses the fabric handle on top when he cannot wheel it. He likes the space in the backpack but does not like that the zip pockets on either side of the backpack actually take up room inside the backpack instead of being on the outside as with many other models. Using space on the inside means that if the backpack is full putting a water bottle in one of these pockets is difficult. Also, he does not like that the wheel housing stick into these pockets. Otherwise this backpack is large and fits his needs, is maneuverable and we have not had a problem at all with the pull out handle sticking or twisting.

I bought this for my daughter who medically restricted from lifting and carrying. This backpack is large enough to carry everything easily and sturdy enough to last. The wheels and handle are well built for easy and comfortable use.

It was a great purchase. I have a very large (17.3") laptop that is HEAVY! I got tired of lugging it up and down the stairs in a very nice carry backpack. This High Sierra really does the job. Excellent suspension, the wheels are sturdy, it holds my laptop and books well, and it feels solid. I plan to use it for pleasure travel (roll-aboard) as well!
