This pack checks all my boxes! It's comfortable, but not overly padded/too heavy. I doesn't give me shoulder bruises like my other pack did, but does a great job of putting the weight on my hips. *I'm 5'9" with a pretty long torso, and the M fits me perfectly. I'm not exactly a minimalist, but I can fit plenty of gear for a multi-day trip in this pack! I really like the external access to the separated sleeping bag pouch. I love the front pocket and access. I like that the lid is removable, but I also love that the bladder pouch doubles as an ultralight daypack for days when you're not moving camp. My only complaint is that the hip pockets don't fit my phone or inReach.

The Deva 60 is just the right size for a weekend backpacking trip. I use this for short jaunts into the backcountry of Alaska and it never fails to haul what I need, and comfortably, too. This pack feels good no matter if I'm going up steep inclines or going down them. It stays put, stays balanced, and for much of the time I even forget it's on my back. Gregory knows how to fit a woman with a pack - this one (my third Gregory) is no different. The straps fit my shoulders, the hip belt rides comfortably on my hips, the bag is light, sturdy, and customizable to fit like a glove. The features are everything I need - pockets where I want them, straps for tightening the load, easy access.

I tired several backpacks (Aerial and Aura of Osprey and other REI bags before a backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon none of them adjusted well to my petite body, initially the Aerial 60L seemed to be a good option but it was a complete disaster. I have several issues with the way it adjusted to my hips and certainly I didn?t enjoy the trip. I bought the Deva 60L XS because this bag fits perfectly, the weight is well distributed and the extra padding in the lower back offers extra support. I?m in love with this bag, not only for the perfect fitting, but also for the many features it has (several access to the main compartment, the waterproof pocket and the water bottle access). I love it comes with a rain cover. I purchased the blue color because the purple wasn?t available, the second was definitely my first option, but the blue is still very cool. The bag comes with a removable daypack, personally it?s not my favorite. I?ll say if you have a small torso and have difficulty finding a backpack the Deva might work for you. Also, I?m a beginner backpacker and the features the Deva offers are all what I?m looking for on backpacking trips: comfort, many compartments, easy access and a rain cover. I love the Deva 60 L.

I bought this backpack for my Washington backpacking trip, i was hesitant at first because it is pricey but after using it, I don't regret a penny! So so worth it!

The backpack itself is great. Minus one star for the daypack. The daypack sucks completely. I wouldn?t use it as anything more than a dirty laundry keeper. It?s uncomfortable, has zero padding or way to keep items from rolling and thumping on your back. It is a waste of material.
