This tent was fantastic for family of 5. Comfortable Space for sleeping and Gear. I think it would be very tight for 8 people as advertised). Easy to set-up with 2 people - about 20 minutes. The overhead light never worked from Day One - but it is not necessary. Would be a nice feature. The roll-away windows are great as is the flap door on hinges. Huge asset for kids going in and out a hundred times a day. We have camped in this in the pouring rain - and stayed dry the entire night. Stands and has a very good structure portability is very good

This is a BIG tent. It has ~2 rooms but the front room in my experience is more a gear stash and not a separate space. It comes well packed with stakes, poles, the tent, a rain fly, and the tent itself. Quality materials. Sturdy construction. Easy assembly. Very roomy. Definitely recommend!

This tent I know I have used it to be able to have a place to sleep and they are comfy and spacious. You can use it to camp or like I use to use it or the people I know that live in them.

The take down only takes about 5 minutes. The hard part is folding it to get back in the case. The first time we used it, I was able to get the tent back into the case, but there is no way the rain fly was going back in. The second time, I couldn't even get the tent in and zipped. There must be a trick to getting all the air out and it flat enough, but I haven't figured it out yet.

This is a great product this tent is made really well it's easy to set up the instructions are easy to read and follow the tent is big enough for 8 people as it says it is comfortable and it has easy to zip up to openings to come in and out it's got good ventilation so it doesn't get too hot or cold it's perfect for a big family or if you just want more room for a small group it's a great tent and perfect for any camping situation my family loves it we use it all the time

It claims to accommodate 8 people, but with 2 queen air mattresses, it comfortably fits 4. It's definitely waterproof with the cover on and can be set up in under 15 minutes, making it very convenient

Used this tent for years, multipletimesa year. Definitely a three season tent because the ceiling is mesh and plenty breezy (great for summer). It never leaked, and I loved that the door poles make it open like a door instead of the usual door flap on most tents. Hard to set up without help, but not impossible. Sadly it gave up the ghost, but I'll be buying it again so I'm glad it comes with lighting now.

We have had this tent for several years. It has held up well to multiple uses per year. On our last trip, we did notice a tiny bit of leaking in the rainfly at the seams and plan to treat the seems before our next trip. However, we fill that we have more than gotten our money's worth out of this tent. We camp as a family of 5, with extra kiddos occasionally. We can easily fit 2 queen air mattress in the tent with room left over for another cot, or storage/walkway. We have used the tent in heavy rain, lots of wind and not had any issues (until the leak I mentioned earlier).

This tent is awesome! My husband is not into camping, so I found this big tent to give us space and comfort. Low and behold a storm comes through on the first day and this thing resisted wind and heavy rain without a single leak. It was easy to pop up and put away. 10/10!

We haven't been camping in years, but Coleman was always a brand we completely trusted. This tent was wonderful! It basically had 3 rooms, but could be opened to create larger spaces. My husband and I would sleep on one side and my kids on the other. 2 twin air mattresses fit easily without touching the sides. We left the center area for our luggage and belongings. In bad weather we were also able to use it as a communal space to play games etc. we did take precautions and waterproof it before even our first use, we had no issues.

It's fun to be in an eight-person tent if it's a date people but the downside is you have to put a tarp underneath the tent and over the tent so you don't get soaking wet from the rain

I went camping about 5 years ago and I had one of these tents. Very very spacious,good protection from the outdoors. There isn't much you can say about a tent I don't guess just that it's working to its full potential and has no issues definitely recommend for camping

It is a great tent; CAN be set up solo with patience though not quickly; very comfortable but does require stakes to hold shape and too big for standard tent pad so best to have a smaller back-up dome along as back up. Most luxurious tent-space I have ever enjoyed for longer stays in large site with reasonably soft (stake-friendly) ground!

This tent has so much room. It is easy to set up and take back down. It is very sturdy, even in different weather conditions. We use it when camping on the lake and our family, including dogs sleep in it.

I have although made one side into a bed room and the other side a living room area. With a blow up mattress as my bed and some cushions to make the couch. It's definitely a great purchase.
