I have used these same Gaiters for several decades. In a word that are Burly. Well made, excellent fitting, and easy use. I use them for skiing, ice climbing, hiking, mountaineering and SAR missions. They have traveled the world in my pack and on my boots.They do it all.

I bought these for my walk to school through the snow packed trails in MI. Exactly what I needed to keep the snow out of my boots. I also use these when I go snowshoeing and they are excellent. Comfortable and they don't come loose.

Just did a winter hike up Cadillac mtn in chilly Maine to see sunrise for the New Year and these did the job. My one gripe was what felt like a small tab on the front to hook the laces. Not sure how this could be improved but it came off a few times mid climb/descent and was very difficult to get back under my laces with gloved hands. Alternatively I'm sure this is smaller/lighter/more likely to not snag on other stuff by being so minimalistic so I'm going to keep trying and see how things end up.

Gaiter are a brilliant peice of kit. When your a nube they can save your pants from clumsy crampon snagging. They fit small, I am a medium for everything... With these I am a large (with ice climbing boots and Gore-Tex pants.

My husband had a pair of these that lasted him more than 15 years! He loved them so much I got him another pair for the Holiday and he's as in love as he was with the original pair! They are super breathable and he wears them hiking and ice climbing mainly. He's 5'9" and they are a great height for him and stand nice and tall on his shins. They are waterproof and are fantastic at keeping his legs warmer on a cold/blustery day. When this pair bites the dust 15+ years from now, we'll be getting him another of this exact pair!

I got these for my husband as a gift. His last pair finally wore out after more than 15 years. These fit well with his hiking, climbing and cross country ski boots. He absolutely loves these and recommends them to everyone looking for tall gaiters!

I bought the XL size, but they won't fit over my mountaineering boots. They work fine with my hiking boots and XC ski boots, so I'm keeping them, but I originally bought them for ice climbing, and I can't use them for that because they won't fit. Construction is great, just wish they made them a little bigger.

I got these because they were out of apex. I go through about a set of gaiters a year between ice climbing and hiking/hunting in the rough brush of Alaska. These have held up through 10 days of scree and will continue into ice season.

Solid peace of gear. I recently used them on the San Gorgonio 9 Peak Challenge. They kept the snow out and the brambles at bray without a mark to show for it. Highly recommend.

These gaiters are super breathable. After several hours of fun in the snow I came back completely dry under them. I have had other gaiters that even after a short hour or less hike there is a lot of moisture on the inside of them and m pant legs are soaked. These gaiters didn't have that issue and I am super pleased with how they perform The only downside is they run small and an XL didn't fit well over a mountaineering boot. So as long as you don't normally fall into an XL you should be fine if you size up.

Great product except the stitching on the Velcro has come loose on both pairs that were purchased. Velcro should be double stitched. Good thing I have a heavy duty sewing machine.

Killer, durable and tight enough the keep everything away from the crampon points. I know gaiters are old school, but when you are wading through waist deep snow in hyalite to get to some of the upper climbs, these are a life-saver!
