Quick and Easy Chalk Solution for Bouldering
I use this chalk while bouldering and have found it to be a simple and mess-free product. The slot design makes it very easy to refill one's chalk bag. However, the slot bag makes it somewhat difficult to apply quickly to hands. Overall this is a great product for bouldering and better for beginners. Consider buying loose chalk instead if you enjoy extra chalk coverage during your climbing sessions.

Solid chalk keeps mess low in the gym
Its good chalk. Probably mostly just makes me feel better about my climbing. The ball keeps my chalk less messy inside my chalk bag. The ball is really easy to use, the chalk feels really smooth. I really haven't had any issues with it but I'm not fussy about chalk. It is harder to mark loose rocks when climbing outdoor as you do have to squeeze the chalk out of the ball. This chalk ball is definitely suited for gym use, if climbing outside just buy loose.
