This spectacular scenic location lies in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at an elevation that exceeds 6,200 feet. Measuring approximately 12 miles wide and 22 miles long, Lake Tahoe covers an area measuring over 190 square miles and has over 70 miles of shoreline that extends into both California and Nevada. This campground in DL Bliss State Park offers panoramic views of Emerald Bay and Fannette Island on Lake Tahoe along with the Nevada shoreline. Biking and hiking trails lead to the Rubicon lighthouse and to the famous 130-ton Balancing Rock.
Meeks Bay Resort & Marina
White sandy beaches are one of the appealing aspects of this Lake Tahoe camping destination that historically served as the meeting place for the Washoe people. Guests enjoy a variety of water sports here as rental facilities offer canoes, kayaks and powerboats. Visitors might also embark on guided fishing expeditions. Camp Richardson Resort

Guests also find numerous hiking trails and modern amenities that include bear resistant lockers and wi-fi access.
