IS this jacket good for 30 degree temperatures?

Hi Anjali, no this jacket is not warm enough for that type of weather. It is a good jacket to layer underneath a warmer one though if you are experiencing those types of temperatures. This jacket is jut a fleece, so I wear it in the fall as it's starting to get colder and in the spring, as it's starting to warm up just a little. Hope this helps!

I love it and think it's very warm and cozy. 30+ temps are comfortable in this jacket but not if it's windy,because it's not wind proof. Also it's not good in wet weather and it is not water resistant or waterproof. Saying that, it is my favorite in between weather go to. If you are willing to spend the extra, the Shelbe Raschel fits the bill for all of the above and is soft and furry inside too!

Yes. I'm typically cold no matter what the weather. I can wear this with a long sleeve shirt and be comfortable in 30°

What is the difference in the two TNF Black options? Is the difference related to the cuff on the bottom hem? If so, please identify which one does not have the cuff.

They are both the same style jacket, they have cuffs, the colors are just different. The North Face logo on the Older option is white and the TNF black (new color) the North Face logo is black.

Like other people have said, tolerance to cold varies greatly between individuals but my gf has walked around the city in close to freezing weather with this jacket and it kept her warm enough.

They are great down to 20 degrees. I can wear them on down to 10, but not sure "if" others have my tolerance? Very nice coat/jacket, and I highly recommend them.
