Color

This is a "comment" and a review of an older product. I went to the "contact us" page but found no option to make a comment. I had a light colored Noah 12' but lost it...bummer! I bought a new Noah 12' in the darker green color and immediately noticed the increased temperature associated with the darker fabric color. I re-gifted it so to speak. Perhaps making Noah tarps in two colors (light and dark) would be good. Let me know when you make a light colored version, again. Thanks

 

Great coverage

Shopper  Is this really pure white?
WILLIAM M  No, it is not pure white. It has a very light grey tint to it.
MICHAEL P  More of a very light gray. I've used this extensively since 2009 camping in extreme (rain/storm) conditions in the mountains (8-10,000 feet up)... awesome product.

JON C  The tarp I purchased in 2008 is a blueish gray color. It is a fantastic product. I use it on extended backpacking trips to give me added rain protection over my tent. It is used approximately 15 days per year and it still looks like it's only been on one outing. Great product!
KENDALL W  I bought my Noah tarp years ago but it should be a light olive green color unless they made a major color change.
Shopper  Hellow friend - I understand the poles are sold separate, I am wondering if the tarp comes with some line or I need to buy some reparete too? Thanks!
THOMAS T  No poles included. I use mine as a hammock shelter, so not needed for my applications. Good luck, have fun.
ATHEL T  The Noah's Tarp 12 comes with a small bag which hold four stakes and four nite ize figure 9's and line on each of them.
JON C  Hi, It comes with four or five long lines and line tighteners. It's a great basic sun or rain shelter and holds up to strong winds and lots of use. I use mine at softball games and for backpacking trips. It is three years old and still looks new. I highly recommend it.
CINDY L  The tarp comes with line to tie it down in 4 places and stakes. I used 2 hiking poles fully extended. If you want to tie it more securely or have a ridgeline, you may want to buy more line. I love this tarp. It is light weight. You can use it in lots of different configurations. I've used it for family camping and plan to use it for scouts.

BLAKE B  Hello, There are 4 long lines that come with the tarp as well as a few pegs to pin the tarp down. The lines each have a "figure 9" for securing the lines without using a knot. The tarp is set up for multiple uses. The lines that come with the tarp can be used with any poles or between trees or anything (your vehicle). The lines can be tied to any one of 14 places on the tarp. I ended up adding some extra line for security in windy situations.
KENDALL W  Poles and line must be bought separate. I use stretchable shock cords and attach tarp to trees for a shelter. This tarp has proven very valuable on several back pack trips when the weather turned nasty. I definitely recommend this tarp.
PAUL N  The Kelty Noah's Tarp 12 came with line and plastic tensioners when I bought it in 2008. I have to assume it still does. It also comes with four simple metal stakes. I bought new reflective line with alittle beefier aluminum stakes for the beach. I also bought two 3 piece adjustable aluminum poles for theions. I also bought two wooden dowels for the sides that I cut to my preference for length. I should think you would be happy with this product. I am very pleased with it!.
SEAN V  My Noah's 12 came with ties for four corners, maybe 6 foot each. So, some line, but you may need more if you want a center guy line or need longer reaches.
