Despite its size, this tent is easy for one person to set up. It is well ventilated, with windows on three sides. Although I have not yet been able to test it, the design should make it very weather resistant, although the high profile would be susceptible to high winds. While spacious, the 8X8 footprint should make it possible to find a set up spot in most campgrounds.

We've had this tent for several years now and are completely happy with it. Well-designed with thoughtful details, sturdy but not too heavy, easy setup and take-down. We bought it for the walk-in ease, but are pleased with all features of it.

The Eureka Copper Canyon 4 Family Tent is a cabin-styled tent. The tent has vertical walls that are ideal for cot use and maximizes the space and liveability inside. The zippered E! Power Port is a unique feature present in the tent that allows you to bring an electrical power cord inside the tent. Matching yellow webbing on tent and fly couple with the ring and pin assembly to make set up fast and easy. High-stash pockets keep essential things nearby and safe. Gear loft is present overhead in the interior of the tent and used for storage. The tent's free standing and shock corded fiberglass and steel frame is easy to set up. Clips secure the tent body to the frame. Storm guy out pockets stow guy lines on fly during set up and take down. Shopper Interior height of tent?

James R I'm 6ft and could walk and stand straight up without any problems.

Shopper Is the floor cloth or plastic. Floor waterproof?

Larry J The floor is made of a little heavier material than the walls. I purchased the footprint because I don't like waiting for the floor to dry before I pack the tent up.

Kerry T I’m not sure if the floor is waterproof or water resistant, but the tent held up very well in heavy rain. My best guess is that the material is a water resistant canvas. I was surprised to see, once the tent arrived, that the instructions recommended treating the seams and certain spots with an additional sealant to make the tent completely waterproof. That said, I didn’t do the additional waterproofing, and the tent did not leak at all during about 3 hours of on and off heavy rain. I don’t plan to do the extra waterproofing, but it’s worth considering that it’s recommended by the manufacturer.

Diane K R J I haven't used this tent yet; however, a larger version of this same Copper Canyon tent performed very well in rain. The floor is canvas, like the body of the tent. It's a wonderfully-designed tent, that's why I just bought a smaller one for myself. Diane Jowdy
