I'm looking for Spring/Summer season raincoat. Is this jacket for winter (thicker/heavier material)?
This is a lightweight jacket. I have not been able to wear it in the North Carolina winter unless I have at least a fleece jacket under it.
It would be perfect for Spring/Summer, it has vents and the material is very light weight. It is thin material like what an umbrella would be made of.
No this is not a jacket for winter. It is lightweight.
I bought this jacket for my daughter who lives in Washington D.C.. She loves the jacket and wears it often in the spring weather. She says it has a thin lining in the back and no lining elsewhere. She plans to wear it in the summer too. She says its like a windbreaker.
Hopes this helps.
It is very thin. Great for Spring/Summer. Hope this helps.
This is a packable lighter weight jacket ideal for spring and summer. Roomy enough to wear a sweater/vest underneath it.
No, actually it's very light weight. However, because it's waterproof it tends to get too warm when I'm in the midst of physical activity (hiking, etc). If you just want it to keep you dry, it does that extremely well. It's also very well made and I expect it to last indefinitely.
This is not a winter jacket. It is light, but does hold in one's own warmth and sweat, so it may not be great for a hot/humid climate. Overall, great jacket. I use it in spring/summer and live in mtns of CO.
Jacklyn Thank you very much for your reply. It was very helpful and appreciate honest comments. :)
Definitely spring/summer. It's thin & not lined at all- just the layer you see in the picture. :)
No, this jacket is very light! It gets the job done (protects you from rain) but it merely serves as another light layer over clothing.
