Comments about Tubbs Timberline 21 Snowshoes for Women (pair):

These are extremely lighweight and easy to walk in especially on steeps; unlike others they dont kick up any snow behind you! However they are a little tough to tighten up and get on. But other then that they are GREAT!

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
KAREN M  I wanted to upgrade from my recreational snowshoes, since I kept breaking the mechanism - on both snowshoes - due to the terrain. So far I love these!
Shopper  How do these compare to the Tubbs Wilderness as far as binding, how you tighten the front and back?
SunnySports S  The Wilderness has more of a clip/ shell binding, whereas the Venture is a front tab that you pull tight, more of a fastening style. It is really based on preference both hold well. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
Shopper  are these the 2009 model
