I liked the aggressive crampons and the slimmer width for women. They are fairly light weight too.

At first I had difficulty setting the clip on the back strap, but once I had it adjusted getting in and out my snowshoes became easy. I just step into the toe harness, pull the strap over the heel of my boot, and tighten the toe strap. I'm just as fast as my partner who has to crank his straps closed. I also loved the aggressive crampons. Mountain tops here I come!

Great Snowshoe

By

Terrific for anything except deep powder (may need a larger show for that). Very comfortable binding - the shoe feels "glued" to your boot. Very stable as well - no experience of a foot sliding off to the side. Very comfortable and light feel for multi-mile hikes in snow.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Willa C  Yes, I ordered these items after 3 days or researching other snowshoes. I am an adventurewome snowshoer and like to climb and run and play and these wlll take me where i want to go: ergonomically safe and fast. ill write more after I try them out. Im 120lbs and 5'4' and i think the size will work. Thanks Tubbs, I love your products!
Shopper  what size are these? I weigh 120 and wanted a 21". Do you have any available in this size. My question is about the FLEX AlP 22 snowshoe for woman.
cindy s  The size for this snowshoe is 22" we apologize but currently we do not have a 21 in this particular snowshoe.
diane g  I hear these snowshoes do not fold into each other in order to carry them compactly--how does one carry them?
RICHARD W  I found it best to put them together bottom to bottom. So the steel claws are touching each other. Then wrap the velcro strap around them that came with the shoes when I bought them. I then throw them in my backpack or carry them by grabbing the blue top of the shoe. Hope this helps.
CARLA R  Hi Diane. You are right, these snowshoes do not nest well. I simply lash one to each side of my backpack with the toe of the shoeshoe near the top of the pack, the tail at the bottom, bindings facing in, crampons facing out so that the snowshoe follows the shape of my pack. I hope this helps! And for what it is worth, I love the snowshoes. They are excellent for alpine work, day to day hiking and running. An all 'round great snowshoe that you can almost forget are on your feet. They are super fast and easy to get in and out of as well...a plus in the mountains when switching between snowshoes and crampons. Less finger freeze! :) CHEERS! -Carla
