Comments about Tracks Sherlock Staff:

Crossing side hill rock fields, getting to that special fly fishing spot, providing stability while crossing a log bridge with fully loaded pack, deployed as a tracking stick (for search and rescue), or as a camera tripod. This robust stick is very reliable. It plants firmly and securely, doesn't bend or deflect, won't telescope unexpectedly because of the pin lock, and can be trusted to support my 300 pound fully loaded weight. The camera mount is a fun feature for taking selfies. The wood ball and foam grip are comfortable. A little sand paper fixes scars to the ball from dropping. It's black so goes with any outfit.

Cons

      Comments about Tracks Sherlock Staff:

I use this staff for wading while fly fishing on rocky rivers. Strong and stable; can put lots of weight on it. Rubber end holds bottom well and is quiet. Easy to adjust height. Grip made more for hiking so it does not have the best grip when wet, but is fine. Not super light but not heavy. I have used it heavily for a month and think it is very good.
