Totally Awesome!!!

By JOSEPH L.

I ordered the Large and it actually weighs in at 2.6 ounces, not 2.7 as listed, I love this Pillow Sack, Packed my Marmot Zeus Down Jacket in it and it is very comfortable, It takes up no extra room like a Down Pillow would and it gives me extra protection for my Down Jacket, It is very soft on the microfleece side and the silicone treated 20D Nylon side protects the jacket from moisture that might make it into my backpack. If you use a Down Jacket and this sack, you basically get a Down Pill...

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

jeremy h  Will a synthetic sleeping bag (3.5 lbs) fit into the smaller size or would it be best to go with a large?
ROBERRT I  I'd say go with the large. That still may not fit a synthetic bag unless it is smaller than most...
GREGG M  I'd go large. I actually purchased a Sea to Summit larger bag for waterproof quality.
TIM H  I don't think there is any chance your sleeping bag would fit in the small. It would probably fit in the large, but it's hard to say for sure because of the amount of variability in compressability of synthetic fills. I'd recommend using your current sleeping bag stuff sack -- or even a small cardboard box -- to estimate the amount of volume your sleeping bag needs and then comparing that to the dimensions of the larger stuff sack,
JOHN K  If it will compress to 6" x 9" it will fit I have a 700 down thermarest bag which fits perfectly but I am not sure how much your synthetic will compress I hope this helps
GLEN B  I have the size Large, which is 10" x 15" and it fits a rolled up fleece jacket in size XL well. The capacity is 14 liters = 854 cubic inches. Hope that helps....
Shopper  Does it include a dust flap at the top? Or is it just the drawstring closure?
ROBERRT I  No dust flap, drawstring only. Works great w/o
ROYAL D  It doesn't include a dust flap, but it does pull closed very snugly.
ZACHARY C  Mine is just a drawstring closer. I've been real happy with mine
JOHN K  It does not have a dust flap.
JEREMY B  It is a drawstring closure.
CASEY B  It's just a drawstring but it's a good drawstring. I've never had any problems.
TIM H  I purchased my Therm-a-rest Stuff Sack pillow almost four years ago, and the model I have does not have a dust flap. However, the drawstring closure cinches very tight and I've not had a problem with it. I pack pretty light, and the Stuff Sack pillow has become a go-to for almost every trip. For general travel, throw some extra clothes in it and you have a pillow on the plane. For hiking, I keep a Montbell down jacket in it--makes an amazing pillow as long as temps stay warm, and if temps drop lower than expected, I give up the pillow and have a high-efficiency insulating layer. Adds functionality and insurance. Highly recommended. Though for my use, the smaller size is definitely preferable for the trail (larger size is better as a pillow for plane travel when it's not a hiking trip.)
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ROBERRT I  Another good product and a good price.
