Comments about Therm-A-Rest BaseCamp Air Mattress:

We used this mattress camping in Utah. The weather was in the 50's during the day but dropped to the high 20's at night. We were very comfortable. It was not cold at all and we just had a inexpensive tent. Can't wait to use it in more favorable conditions.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest BaseCamp Air Mattress:

Guys, it's just big, there's nothing you can do about it, but you gotta know that on the front end. Backpacker, don't even LOOK at one of these. I do a lot of river canoeing, no portaging, just load it up. My wife has a Trail Pro which is somewhat more pack-friendly, but she's not 6-2, 220. I like it a lot, but remember its' BIG.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest BaseCamp Air Mattress:

I tore my hair out about the expense of this air mattress after ordering it, but it is worth every penny ! I haven't slept well on camping trips for many years - what a joy to fall asleep easily and wake up well-rested ! Utter comfort.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

            Questions about this item:

Jack J  For car camping purposes, is this good enough or should I purchase Therma Rest's Dream Time?
YUE C  It is good enough for me. From my understanding, Dream Time is like an air mattress, it is not the same technology. The reason I go from air mattress to this kind of self-inflate sleeping pad is the R -value. Which is the factor that keep you warm, so this one seems has a higher R value than Dream Time (please double check).
Shopper  is this term-A-rest Base Camp air mattress made in USA?
THOMAS D  Yes. it is Made in USA. The manufacture is in Seattle WA.
