We use these in our RV, love the little thumb handle, very sturdy and lite.
It's the only camping plate I've ever owned

I have always had this plate, just got a second one for my husband. Works wonderfully, I use it for all picnics/camping, you name it. Sturdy, has a good amount of surface to do some light prep and the lips are clutch for runny sauces.
Sea To Summit Delta Plate The Sea To Summit Delta Plate is the easy way to fresh, fast, and good food just about anywhere. It's made from rigid Nylon 66, which has a high melting point and designed to withstand outdoor use. A lightweight Protex hex base pattern reduces the hot surface area and keeps it cool to the touch. It is odor and stain resistant, and BPA-free for your safety. There is a thumb grip to easily handle the bowl even when it s hot, and it makes for a great hanging loop when not in use. This product comes with steep side walls to prevent your favorite food from spilling. It weighs only 3.7 oz. and is easy to carry around on all your backpacking adventures. With the Sea To Summit Delta Plate, dining out in the wilderness is lots of fun!

Is this plate fireproof? Can I cook directly in it with my camp stove?
Leanne R
No.
SARAH F
No, it is made of plastic. It would melt.
DAVID F
No. The plates are made out of Nylon 66 which is basically a very durable plastic. They would melt if exposed to direct flame or very high heat.
Anne S
Absolutely not, even if very sturdy, it's plastic....

Do these nest together and are they deep enough to use as a bowl also?
ERIC D
I have seen these at REI, they can nest but there is a gap in between the 2 plates. So not perfectly but they can...sort of. Lol. They could be used as a bowl for Mountain House meals or something like that, I wouldn't use it for cereal or anything like that, but the Delta Bowl is nice. They nest the same way but the bowl is a really good size, and feels good in your hand, especially with the thumb stud! PS. there is a new Delta bowl that comes with a lid now, check it out! Hope this helps...
