Been using these for approx 18-20 years, couldn't survive walking in the wintertime without them. Quick delivery, good supplier.

Cheapest price on the internet

Sunny Sports had the best price on this item on the entire internet. Even with the shipping, Sunny Sports was significantly cheaper than anyone, even eBay. Kissimmee would recommend this company to anyone.

Yaktrax Walk
The Yaktrax Walk is a traction device developed by Yaktrax. It is designed for people who are looking for an easy-to-use, lightweight traction device for their shoes. It is ideal for pedestrians, the elderly, business people or anyone who wants greater stability on ice and snow. The Walker is made out of an injection molded thermal plastic elastomer designed for easy on and off. The coils are protected against rusting and hand-wound to give you 360 degrees of traction on ice and snow. When you walk using this traction device, every step you take places hundreds of biting edges in direct contact with the ice beneath your feet providing lots of friction. The device is ultra light in weight which makes you feel natural. The Yaktrax Walk can be worn in temperatures as low as -41 Fahrenheit.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  How long will these last if one walks about an hour a day in snow and/or ice?
Chris C  Normally in the winter I have Yaktrax on 3 pairs of boots/shoes used for different purposes. Two of these are daily walking shoes that I rotate. I walk about 1 1/2 hrs a day. The 3rd pair I use to walk my dog for a short trip for her to do her duty (outside of the 2 times I walk her for longer periodss). By the end of the season (my "season" lasts from Dec to April), I pretty much need to replace all three pairs. Sometimes when I am lucky, one or two will last for a month or so into the next winter season. I think I get extra wear from mine because I leave them on the boots, rather than remove them and place them on a different pair of boots/shoes.
NANETTE V  I think this is dependent upon two things: 1) the weight of the person .....obviously, a 200 lb person is putting a lot more pressure on the cord than a 100 lb person. 2) how the items are stored. Since its siiicon, if not stored properly over the summer (or the winter even), you could easily experience some cracking. I know silicon protects against this for the most part, but its not invincible. These are a great alternative to nothing when you walk on snowy surfaces with potential of ice underneath. If you are a serious hard core demanding person, you may want to consider the Kahtoola microspikes. Now, those are designed for serious wear and tear, but you can easily damage floors with these things, and they could easily harm the wearer if you err in putting them on your shoe! So, its a toss up. The Yaktrax are probably great for the average person, but if its some serious mileage in questionable conditions on a heavy basis, you may want to purchase the microspikes instead.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Linda F  So My brother, who just had surgery, will not slip and fall on the ICE ! He needed this in large and you have it ! These are great !
Charlotte O  co-workers working evenings in snowy and icy conditions. Bought for them so they would not fall.
TYLER S  Keep my pregnant wife safe.
