The toothed cam works well in any kind of rope conditions, like frozen or dirty ropes, with its self-cleaning slot. You can easily attach carabiners for the connect adjust lanyard and foottape or footcord footloop in the wide lower hole, and the upper hole lets you clip a carabiner around the rope.
