Comments about Princeton Tec Corona Headlamp:

Bought this for walleye fishing at night. Great light because it's not too bright and it is waterproof. I also use this for walking and snowshoeing at night. It is plenty bright on it's highest setting to keep you outta trouble and clicking to it's lower settings keeps night blindness to a minimum.

Having the battery pack behind my head was huge selling point. If you are wearing a light for 6-8 hours at a time it makes a big difference not to have the light sliding your hat down.

My only complaint is the buttons are not 'glove friendly'. Not an issue when walking or snowshoeing, but when fall fishing at night you may need to remove your gloves to press the buttons. If the buttons were a tad bigger it would get a 5/5.

I use the headlamp for inspection of structures in dark areas. Headlamp is adjustable and very bright. Stays bright for many hours.

Slightly heavy, but worth it.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
STEVEN G  Love this headlamp!! Altho somewhat heavy, has great adjustability, several settings, and is rugged!
nadaur n  if it has the push button switch do you have to press it at least 3 times to switch it off from your particular setting and vice versa? twould that be like changing tv channels without direct channel access and vice versa?
DON S  After about 30 seconds when you press the main power switch (right hand) again it turns the headlight OFF, regardless of the intensity that it is currently set at. If you press the other switch (left hand) it will dim to the next level and keep going lower until 'strobe' mode is reached.
nadaur n  'it wil dim to the next level' ? wil it also brighten up to the next level if it wer on dim setting to start with?that would b like going thru chanels 2,3,4, on tv wen u want to go to chanel 5.this is primitiv technology like tv b4 'direct access'.that made me resent my 2nd princeton tec.
