Princeton Tec Apex Pro Headlamp
To offer a faster and brighter light output for athletes and adventure-lovers, choose the Princeton Tec Apex Pro Headlamp. This Apex Pro headlamp is powered by two CR123 lithium batteries protected in a highly durable and waterproof casing. Although it is for professionals, it works perfectly for all users. It offers 200 lumens of light with 5 output modes. This headlamp provides waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. This single Maxbright LED emits a smooth, powerful, white light useful for a range of tasks. It comes with LED optic collimator that gathers all available light from an LED in the form of scattered rays and re-emits the light as parallel rays, making it more optically efficient than a standard reflector. The proprietary heat sink technology allows the LEDs to burn brighter and longer. The battery power meter provides you with continuous feedback of the batteries, indicating high, medium or low battery life, so you can make educated decisions about changing batteries or packing spare batteries. Order the Princeton Tec Apex Pro Headlamp right away!

One reason why the Princeton Tec Apex Pro Headlamp is popular is because of its Bright.

I was expecting this light to have a more focused beam. I currently own a Black Diamond that I like better than this new light.

Comments about Princeton Tec Apex Pro Headlamp:

Nice bright light, BUT there are a half-dozen different time ratings, depending on "regulated output" (whatever that is, it is not explained), total output at that level, and which of the lamps is on. I need to know how long this thing will be bright. Not, bright for an hour, and then what???

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

              Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CESARE C  Max light (lumnes) for price
Shopper  Do the batteries pose any type health risk being so close to your head?
RONALD V  No risk. They are completely hermetic
Shopper  1. Does this have both red and white LEDs as one listing suggests? 2. If so, can the red LED stay on continuously? 3. What are the light outputs in lumens and burn times of each? (red and white) 4. Are the light outputs adjustable, and if so, continuously or in steps? 5. Is there a newer model? Specs? Thanks
SunnySports S  Great questions! 1) Yes, the main beam is always a white beam, it is the 4 LED ultra-brights that you have the option to change the color of (even though its 4 ultra-bright they are all only one color, whichever color you choose). 2) Yes, the red LED ultra-brights can stay on continuously. 3) There is a total of 35 hours of burn time no matter how you slice it, but depending on if you have on the main beam or the 4 ultra-brights can effect how long you can keep it on in high beam. The main beam (white- 130 - Lumens) you can keep on high beam for 1 and half hrs, then it automatically switches to low beam to finish of the remaining 33 or so hrs. The ultra- brights (red - 100 Lumens) you can keep on high beam for 5 and a half hours, and then it switches to low beam for a remaining 12 hrs of burn time. 4) Yes, the outputs are adjustable, you can switch between high beam and low beam. No, you can not have both the main beam and the ultra-brights on continuously together. 5) There is not a newer model. Technically Princeton Tec is putting out a catalog this year with the Apex Pro which they are branding the 2010 model but I spoke with one of their experts and he said it is the same model just re-branded because customers want a new model. It is the same styling same specs, nothing has changed at all. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
