Questions about this item:

Paula S  What is temperature range best worn?
WALTER W  Need something warmer for real cold temps. That said, my son loves these for temps in the 30's and up. As long as he is moving or playing hockey with me or whatever, he hasn't complained about cold fingers. I would imagine 30 degrees sitting still would get cold after a while though. Hope this helps. Great little gloves. He owns the mitts too which are naturally slightly warmer since his digits are together.
Tracy V  What size would an 8 year old wear?
Jessica S  An 8 year old would wear a size Small. The circumference is 4.5"-5.5" and the length is 4.5"-5 1/4".
