Comments about Outdoor Research Axcess Pants for Men:
I have skied with these pants twice now and I am quite happy with them. THye "light padding" in the butt and back of the knees is great for sitting on the chairlift, and the zippers on either side of the pant leg prevent you from overheating on the way down if you're shredding. I also really like the inner elastic mesh that goes on your boots, although I'm not sure why it's a breathable/non-waterproof *mesh* as opposed to a more impermeable membrane of some sort. So far, it hasn't been a problem, but it hasn't been a snowy season so it's tough to say. Aside from that, I am overall extremely pleased with these pants. I have a pair of Marmot alpinist pants, and while I'd be more likely to use those for, well, alpine applications such as light mountaineering/backcountry skiing, I think these are my new resort pants.
Definitely a good bargain.
