Great suit for the money

from Westerville, OH, US

I chose the O'NEILL Reactor 3/2 in the LT size recommended by LeisurePro staff. I wanted an entry level suit that came in tall, and liked the large number of positive reviews on the Reactor. The suit is well-made and fits perfectly. I'm 6' 0", 180, with arms and legs longer than typical for my height. As long as I make sure the suit is well pulled up around my shoulders and neck, I do not have the zipper unzipping problem a few people have reported.

Good for surfing - not scuba

from Coral Springs, FL, US

The suit is well made and fits great (hint: sizing chart is accurate). I returned it because it is made for surfing, not scuba. You could use it for scuba, but you'll need to use more weight to balance the buoyancy. I recommend it for other water sports.

A solid deal

Not as supple or soft as a suite selling for twice as much but for the price it is hard to beat. Since most won't suits will not last four years if you take good care of it. A very good value.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shel E  Is the chest and back panel durable material or soft rubber?
CHRIS G  It is the same material, but with a smoother finish and thicker. The body panels are 3 mm thick and the arms, legs, etc. are 2 mm. The material is a little delicate. I put a finger though a neck panel, before I understood the need for gentleness. Use a plastic bag over your foot to make sliding into the leg easier. This was my first wet suit and now that I understand it, I am very pleased. September swimming off the Maine Coast has been delightful (water at 59 F).
