About NEMO Strato Loft 25F Sleeping Bag - Regular

NEMO Strato Loft 25 Sleeping Bag
Tired of cramped and uncomfortable mummy sleeping bags? Wish you could take your bed with you when you go camping? NEMO has listened to outdoorsy people like you and have made the Strato Loft Down Sleeping Bag. Insulated with special 700-fill water repellent duck down, this bag will keep you toasty and dry even in freezing cold temperatures. The bag has a special fitted sleeve that holds an insulated sleeping pad such as the NEMO Cosmo 25L pad and cuts down on redundant weight and fill material to keep the bag as light as possible. The dual side zippers in Strato Loft let you freely peel back the covers just like your bed at home for access and ventilation, and you can also zip two bags together to create a giant sleeping bag fort. The Strato Loft comes with a cotton storage bag and a drawstring stuff sack.

Questions about this item:

craig c  Is there continuos insulation or down on the bottom ? fully insulated or is a sleeve provided for the PAD
TROY P  The bottom of the bag has a blue 'slip' that will fit a pad- there is no padding or insulation so I would recommend a pad.. I actually fit two pads - ThermaLux Camp top & air mattress bottom then filled with air after inserted - tight fit. The Thermalux pad is the insulator and very comfy. This was for base camp setup. For Backpacking I would use a thermal lightweight pad. This bag is one of the best I've used, warm, nice foot room, non restricting and the double zip can be used like a blanket. You can also seal yourself up inside at the head area for really cold nights with little mesh pockets inside for small items needed in the night without getting out of the bag. This is not an ultralight Mountaineering bag for the minimalist.
Shopper  How much does this bag weigh, including the stuff sack?
Alex S  The average weight is 3 lbs., 4 oz.
