I bought the North Face Talus 3 last month from Sunny Sports. It is by far the best tent I own. Plenty of room for me and my wife (I'm 6'2") and our gear. The built in gear loft is perfect for lights, etc. It was quick to set up and completely storm proof despite being well ventilated. Great design guys! The only thing I didn't like were the aluminum poles, I personally prefer fiberglass or carbon poles having had aluminum bend and fail on a different tent (but not this one). But I've owned ...many. This is my first North Face and the best I've had. I will definitely stick with the brand.
I purchased this tent last month and so far it's the best I've owned. I love that they included a footprint instead of buying it separate. The tent is very roomy, plenty of room for me, my wife, and gear. Completely waterproof even during heavy storms despite being well ventilated. Great design guys! It's quick to set up and take down. The only thing I didn't like were the aluminum poles. I prefer fiberglass or carbon poles as I can be a little rough on packed gear sometimes in the backcountr...y and I've had aluminum bend and fail before (but not on this tent so far). I've had a lot of tents through the years and owned a lot of brands, all things considered The Talus 3 is easily the best tent I've owned. I will definitely be sticking with the brand.
