Comments about The North Face Tadpole 23 Three-season Tent:

My primary use is for backpacking and is quick and easy to put up. The tub like floor is very nice when the rains come. Assembly in the rain can be an annoying problem since the fly is installed after the tent is assembled, however you can lay the fly over the tent and still slide the two poles in place.

I had been looking for this tent and found it at a great sale price. It works great for one or two people. Not the lightest but you get some extra head room and room for a pack.

Comments about The North Face Tadpole 23 Three-season Tent:

I am a geophysics student and used this tent for 3 weeks in Death Valley. The tent held up well and was quite comfortable for me and my gear. This tent held up very well during windy nights. This tent is lightweight and easy to store. I did not have any problems with condensation. One slight con is that it did get pretty cold, had I not had a good sleeping bag, I would have been very uncomfortable. Overall, I love this tent!

Comments about The North Face Tadpole 23 Three-season Tent:

I actually bought this tent to use on the casting deck of my bass boat. I anchor on the Susquehanna river and spend the night. Works great, allows me to stay the night without taking my boat out of the water and finding a hotel, etc.

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  I had an older tadpole 23 and the poles fit in my motorcycle luggage. I bought a new one and the poles were a bit longer. This one says packed size is 6x23, is it safe to assume the poles are 23? My old tent color was yellow/blue.
DANIEL J  The poles will be a bit shorter than total pack length. Usually 1 to 2 inches.
Shopper  Does this come with a footprint? I see a footprint for tadpole 23 being sold as an accessory. thnx!
IAN H  It did not come with a tent saver that is what you were asking. I had to buy one separately.
Shopper  Hi. I am trying to decide if I should go for the North Face Tadpole 23 2008 or 2009 version. What is the difference?
          Anton T  Why do I price 164$ and 219$
