Is this basically a tarp shelter with a pole and a zippered door vs being more like a tent? And with the door open, is the inside left exposed to the elements?
Ken G I thru hiked the AT using a 10x10 tarp for my shelter in 2012. This just caught my eye. How is the ventilation when it is closed up. I did find a site that has the footprint also.
ERIC L yes, but it's super light, high quality, and in the rain i stayed super dry. colorado mountains tested.
ELSY I It is a tarp shelter with no footprint or bug net. It's lightweight and easy to pitch but only in specific types of terrain. It is almost to impossible to find the footprint to this shelter and could not find it anywhere. But if you are a beginner and are looking for a lightweight tent this is not the choice for you.
