Sizes are goofy. I am 5'8" and 190 lbs, with a 42" chest. The Large was like I was supposed to be 6' and 225+ to fit. I returned and ended up buying a medium instead. Sleeves on the medium are even a tad-bit long. Overall comfy build and warm, but need to try it on before buying. Also, not warm enough as a stand alone device, you will need a wind breaker or a shell to use in colder climate. Sitting in 30+ temps, it's "ok" but the wind killed it for me.

Size runs large, way too big. I bought a Large, and I was swimming in it (I have a 42" chest). The sleeves were long as well, I would have had to get it tailored. I am 5'8", 185 lbs, and this is slated for someone 6' and 200+.

Sleeves run long on a medium. I am 5'8" and 190 lbs and a 42" chest, I went with the Medium and not the large, and the sleeves are still really long. Considering altering to reduce the length of sleeve drag.

North Face is known for lightweight, comfortable, warm and stylish outer wear, however they are not cheap. I searched the internet to find the best deal and SunnySports came up big, you were by far the best price around and your free shipping really sealed the deal.

            Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ALICIA H  I love North Face products and the prices on this site can't be beat!!
Shopper  Can this be used as an inner liner for an external shell made by Mountain Tek about 5 years ago. Are the zippers teeth large or small?
RAIJEAN J  The zipper is average size. If the mountain tek has large teeth, this probably won't zip in. It's a great jacket, not bulky and would be fine to wear underneath if as a liner. You could also change out the zipper. They wind proof version is a little thinner than this one (tighter weave) and the Khumba is a little thicker.
Shopper  Is the North Face Logo on the back upper right corner?
