Questions about this item:

sharon k  is this coat good for snow skiing?
ALICIA M  I bought the jacket for a trip to NYC in January. It was snowing, raining, and very cold. I would recommend this jacket. It has a nice inner layer for warmth and North Face is the only jacket I wear for snowboarding.
sharon k  what degrees (temperature) is this coat rated for?
CRAIG V  It was actually purchased for my daughter. We live in northern WI, and she has worn it all winter without a problem. Not sure on the actual temp. rating, but it gets quite cold up here. Hope that helps.
Shopper  what temperature is this for? Is it a winter coat?
KELLY S  With the fleece zipped in, it is a warm winter coat. The outer shell by itself could work as a rain jacket. And I've enjoyed wearing the fleece alone on mild/cool days.
