What are the differences between this thermal Denali and the regular (non-thermal) Denali? Is the fit the same? Does the fabric feel the same? Does this keep you warmer? Thanks.
Just got the jacket. The fabric is not your typical fleece. It is a bit fuzzier but does not seem to leave any lint on my shirts. It keeps me just as warm if not warmer than my old standard Denali fleece.
The thermal jacket I have does not keep the wind out in the sleeves or back, except in the area with the chest protector. I wear a M in all the other North Face clothing and this jacket is a little big in the sleeves and width wise compared to other jackets. The fabric is not the usual fleece either, it is a soft fuzzy material. It does keep you warm on a cool day if it is not too windy. Hope this helps.
The thermal one is overall better than the regular one especially during the winter. It fits a little bigger and longer. The fabric feels much softer so it keeps you much warmer than the regular one.
