i am buying these as party favor gifts for some family and close friends, for my 8 yr old daughters first sleep over in January!! so i was wondering would it be too small for 13 yr old boy and girl...boy is very thin light weight but the two 13 yr old girls are on the heavier side in weight and average height?
Absolutely. I think an average adult can even sleep in these. They are great sleeping bags, probably 8 years old is the good starting age for this bag, as it seems "full size" and they are perfect weight.
I bought these fir my kids ages 7 and 10. I would say my 10 yr old has a couple of years out if it. If the teenage kids are a little bigger I would say to go to an adult size. They'll get more use out of them longer...
I would suggest going with an adult sleeping bag for a 13-year old. While a small 13-year old might find the sleeping bag comfortable, they're likely to outgrow it pretty quickly.
Aside from that, our 6-year old has this sleeping bag. It's great quality, and he loves it!
It is best for younger kids. I think that the 8 year old might be reaching the upper limits of the bag. It is perfect for my 5 year old but will likely be passed down in the next few years. I would go for an adult bag for the 13 year old.
What a great idea and a generous gift! I definitely think the bag is big enough for The children you're describing. My daughter is in fourth grade weighs 105 pounds and is 4'8" and has plenty of room. I like the bag so much that I bought myself one and I'm 40 years, 130 pounds and 5'1". I think if the kids are taller than 5' 8" and still growing you might want to get an adult bag.l I think the Bags are amazing quality, worth every single penny And overall I really goodbye!! I like them so much that i plan on purchasing 5 more This year as Christmas gifts For my niece and nephews :) Hope this helps... Enjoy your sleepover!!!!
For a child eight or older, I recommend purchasing an adult sleeping bag.
hard to say for sure. my daughter is a small 9 year old. but based on how much room she has, i do think it would be okay.
They will be perfect for kids that size. My kids love these sleeping bags. I used one on a girl scout camping trip last year. I am 5/7". It was not roomy, but it worked.
