Comments about The North Face Atlas Triclimate Jacket for Men:

I bought this to replace a Columbia 3-in-1 jacket that I have had for about 6 years. The prices for a North Face coat have always deterred me from purchasing, but after finding this site I thought I would give one a try. The prices and return policy were huge selling points. I basically wear this casually to work everyday and will probably use it for snow skiing and outside recreational activities this winter.

Pros: I am now a believer that North Face is worth the money! The Atlas is lightweight, not bulky, and best of all waterproof and breathable. I also like that it has a removable hood. When springs comes around I will be using the outer shell as my lightweight jackets since it is waterproof. I am so glad I decided to try one. This coat at my local sporting goods store is $235 and I got it on here for $164!

I also got the Apex E-tip gloves and they are great as well. I normally wear a medium glove, but I tried these on at the store and a size large was a better fit. The mediums were tight and I was not able to bend my fingers.

Cons: There are only a few minor issues that I have found so far. The front Velcro flap is sometimes annoying when I want to zip or unzip the jacket and the side pockets are not very easy to zip and unzip. I am hoping the zippers on the pockets will get easier to zip and unzip with time. A pocket inside the front liner of the jacket would have been nice, but other that that this is a great jacket.

Despite the minor inconveniences, I still rate this coat as one of the best I have ever owned.

One other note, I did not purchase it from here, but the North Face Apex Bionic Jacket is also a great jacket. I got one last year as a gift and I really like it as well, and one of the reasons I decided to try out a North Face 3-in-1 jacket.

I am 69" in height, 140 lbs, very slim, still feel tight in the shoulder and underarm when wearing size "M". I wonder how a average built body can be fitted in this jacket
