Is tis ideal for snowboarding in? Also, sizing guide..what is the sizes for small and medium?
KAREN R Not sure about snowboarding, but it is a great price. When I bought it for my son, I could not believe it was the same jacket that was in the local stores for MUCH higher prices! He absolutely loves his! Good Luck!'
BRAM L This jacket would be perfect for snowboarding. It's kept me warm while skiing and winter biking (in windy conditions well below freezing). Totally wind-proof, so even though it is thin and not even that fleecy on the inside, it creates a shell of warm air around you and keeps you toasty. The mens small is not very small (I'm slim and this is kind of baggy on me, but good when I have a couple layers on underneath), it leans more towards an average men's "medium" than an "X-small". Check North Face website for sizing.
JESSE C I would not say ideal for boarding because it is not long or warm enough. I use this jacket for walking around in the cold and usually need a hoodie underneath it to keep me warm. Sizes run a bit small. Someone who typically wears a medium should probably buy a large.
