I have the 2016 version of the Twin Sisters, as far as I can tell the only differences between it and the current one are color and the current one seems to have a few more loops for guylines.
This is a high-quality product and the only way you'd be unhappy with it would be if you purchased it for conditions other than what it is designed for. This tent is lightweight and does well in strong winds (I've experienced up to 50mph winds in and felt like it could handle a good bit more). From my ...perspective it's best use is for going light when there is enough snow depth to seal the skirt with snow and to dig out a space underneath the tent. Next best use is when you want to go light and conditions are such that you (might) get snow dumped on you.
This tent will work in all conditions, but due to the snow skirt it's probably least optimal for cold, snowless conditions when the wind is blowing hard -- this due to the fact that without the skirts weighed down by either snow or rocks, ground-level winds will pass unhindered through the tent. For me that means 2AM ice cream headaches even with a hood and balaclava on.
It's got enough room for two guys and their packs. I use it for solo winter mountain trips and it's a palace for one.
I actually have the very first generation of this product (I believe they called it the twin peaks back then); it has taken care of most of my backpacking needs for over the past 10 years. Light weight, easy to set up, solid in foul weather, the two-person profile allows it to be set up in a greater number of spots than a square-based shaped floor-less shelter. Using adjustable trekking poles, I can set it up tight against the ground, or a little high depending on needs. Great for snow campin...g. I'm now using it for bikepacking trips. Mosquitoes are much less of a problem then you'd think, but there have been times where I've opted for a traditional tent when I wanted to make sure I wasn't accosted by mosquitoes while sleeping. I've been backpacking for close to 30 years now and this is my go-to shelter.
