I must admit I was skeptical and a little concerned I was wasting my money. Even after my EVO's were delivered and I got a look at them I thought I wouldn't be happy with them. In fact I didn't even try them at first, I just hung them up for an entire season and continued to use my tubular snowshoes.
I finally gave them a try and I must say I was so happy with them that I would never go back. They are so sleek and well designed you walk effortlessly like you don't even have them on. They are... so light weight and comfortable yet they are amazingly sturdy and sure footed. Great for knees and ankles as there is absolutely zero lateral movement or slippage. The only drawback is they are noisy in hard pack or icy conditions. This however was easily fixed by coating the bottom with a rubberized sound deadening spray. All in all I love these and wouldn't use anything else.
Good backcountry snowshoe. We take these on winter camping trips. They pack very flat and they are lightweight. We often use them to create trails and while setting up our winter camps. Usually we xc ski into camp, then us snowshoes around camp. They are versatile. For everyday use, I would find something quieter... but for backcountry use, they are great. Add the tails for more versatility.

the heel strap on my MSR EVO snow shoes snapped and I need to replace it and buy additional straps for potential replacement. How do I this?
