About Marmot Limelight 4P Tent with Footprint and Gear Loft

Marmot Limelight 4P Tent with Footprint and Gear Loft
The Marmot Limelight 4P Tent with Footprint and Gear Loft is the perfect unit to be used by a family of four. Plenty of room is available, thanks to the tent's gear loft and two additional vestibules. This tent comes with multiple storage pockets to stow your belongings. The structure depends on DAC press-fit poles, which are easy to set, and are also durable. With a Catenary cut floor, you have a shelter that is fully waterproof, owing to taped seams that lift it off of the ground, keeping you dry at all times. A waterproof window construction with a velcro weld is highly practical for use, as it does not add to the load of the tent. Comments about Marmot Limelight 4P Tent with Footprint and Gear Loft:

The tent is very easy to set up and take down and I like how most of the condensation goes out onto the rain fly and drips down onto the ground, I recommemd a Mountain Hardwear Expedition Duffel to keep my sleeping bag from getting too damp from the condensation that didn't escape onto the rain fly.
I use a ALPS Mountaineering Tri-Leg Stool in the middle of this tent and sit up straight and I'm 5'8" tall.
It's nice to have two doors to let cool air through and that way you don't have to crawl over anyone.

The tent stakes I recommend are either the 7" X3 Anchor Stakes or the 9" X3 Anchor Stakes.

Here are the things I recommend for being comfortable in a tent.
I highly recommend the Coleman Trailhead II Folding Cot or aCrazy Creek HexaLite 2.0 PowerLounger or the Therm-A-Rest Trekker Lounge or the Big Agnes Helinox - Cot One. I also recommend having a Zebralight H600 model headlight and Black Diamond Gizmo Headlamp or a SunJack CampLight USB Bulb with a PowerFilm USB+AA Solar Charger to plug the sunjack bulb into.
For sitting outside, I highly recommend the Walkstool Comfort 18" inch. and a taller sized Walkstool Comfort for the bigger people.

To chop wood for the fire, I recommend a hatchet or axe, a Zero Tolerance ZT0100 Military knife and a limb lopper to cut up tree limbs. Then the camp stove I recommend is the Solo Stove Titan & Solo Pot 1800.

It's also nice to bring along an a Ultimate Survival Technologies BASE Tube Tarp 1.0 and a Kammok Roo Hammock, Kammok Python Strap Hammock Suspension System.

Comments about Marmot Limelight 4P Tent with Footprint and Gear Loft:

I looked at several Brands on Line, Kelty Gunnison, The North Face Talus.. I decided in this one...Easy setup, Great ventilation, and it rained all night the night we used it, and we and the tent remained bone-dry, Roomy for two adults, and 10 Year old son, Jack, and two dogs, Abbey and Sandy.. I am Happy with my decision, Recommended to family and friends. 5 stars !!!

Comments about Marmot Limelight 4P Tent with Footprint and Gear Loft:

Just took this on a four day rafting trp in Montana with all the weather you would expect during springtime in the Rockies. Stood up quite welll to wind, rain, snow, and my fellow campers' snoring. Lots of room for just two old guys with big air mattresses who like to camp with all the amenities. Would fit 3 easy but 4 might be a stretch. Easy to set up and take down. Great for raft, canoe, and car camping where weight is sacrificed for comfort but would be a bit bulky and heavy for backpacking trips of much distance.
